Cecelia Ahern

I write because I feel compelled to. I write because my mind creates so many what-ifs that it overflows through my pen. When I write I get lost in another world, as if I’m in a completely different place: an in-between place that feels liberating. Writing makes sense of my thoughts, answering my questions, and questioning my answers. Often I have no idea where the words are coming from but I hold the pen regardless and let the story tell itself. I don’t know who I’d be if I didn’t write; writing helps me to figure out who I am.
