Why do I write? I write because I read. Books enthrall me, uplift me, and challenge me. They force me to consider ideas I would never have pondered on my own. I write because I read authors whose insights and eloquence I could never match, and they prod me to think clearer, try harder, and churn through draft after draft until passion and ideas mesh on the page. All I’ve ever wanted to be is a writer, because words change lives.
