Robyn Carr

Writing changes me, teaches me, broadens me, and makes me more aware. When I constantly reach for understanding and resolution in my stories, I find it for myself. Many issues, particularly in women’s fiction, I can’t fully understand until I’ve written about them. What will a woman do with an unfaithful husband? How will a woman deal with serious illness? I’ll know at least one woman’s story when I write it. When we write and read romance, we’re searching for perfect, enduring love; when we write and read women’s fiction, we’re searching for ourselves.

Plus, it’s a wicked good time.
