The Butterfly Lion
One of the UK’s best-loved children’s authors, and Children’s Laureate from 2003 through 2005, Michael Morpurgo was signed by HarperCollins in 1994, and his books have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide. The Butterfly Lion, a lyrical and heartfelt tale of friendship, won the 1996 Nestlé Smarties Book Prize.
