Candy package with Timothy Findley’s plans for his novella You Went Away
Canadian author Timothy Findley’s only novella, You Went Away (1996), was based on his parents’ marriage. Originally titled Songs, it is filled with lyrics from the period’s most popular songs. The inside of this package of Rosebuds candy gives an overview of Findley’s plans for Songs and was presented to his HarperCollins editor, Iris Tupholme, in lieu of a book proposal.
